    Dear All,


    I just wanted to inform everyone, that I solved my problem yesterday evening! It was absolutely easy!


    Well, before I went to switch off the battery for at least 30 minutes, I said, let's take a try to update the firmware again! This idea came, because after the first update and restart the car recognized the usb again, and asked me for another update.


    So I took the usb drive, put it in the car, and again it resolved that there is an update.
    Notified me what version is in the car and what is on the usb. There were the same. Ok, I said YES, update.


    It started as normally, checking, then progressbar with copying files. But this time this progress bar finished just in some seconds, it recognized, that those files are already there.


    The car asked for a new restart, then everything went fine. No PIN question! Everything works just fine!


    Now, what was the point here?


    Well, when I tried the update at first, I did not switch the car to RUN mode! I left it in ACC mode only. This means not all the units are under power, just a few really required!
    So after the restart when the unit asked for identity data from the car, those units were offline, so it behaved like when the unit is moved to another car.
    Maybe the power off will be also helped, because after a full restart this handshaking should take place again.
    But I think a second update in RUN mode is much easier thing. And it really solved this issue. Hopefully!

    How can I check the version of uconnect without update?

    Köszi! Viszont miért második? Vagy az első is megvan még? Sajnos befejezték a gyártását, így én már biztos nem jutok hozzá másodikhoz.

    I've got an answer that the 30 minutes must went while the car is in Run or ACC mode. We'll see. But I will try to remove the battery today. I'll let you know.

    Thanks for the answer! They are working on that.
    Can you know which fuse can help with this? It's maybe better to remove and then replug the fuse only.
    Another strange thing. I've tried the security codes, 3 different ones, after the third a message appeared: try the next code after 30 minutes. This was yesterday evening at 22. And it is there since then.

    Sorry for the English, but I am from Hungary and do not speak German.
    I see You are talking about the updates here.
    I've got my Freemont 2 weeks ago. Yesterday evening I have updated it with this update:
    UCONNECT®8.4_MY14_MY15_CTP_RADIO_15.03.B2_RE2_RE3_RE4_RE7_RB5_RB4


    Since then my radio asks for security code. Only climatization and heating is working on the display, everything else is disabled.

    I have contacted the service, they are also searching for the issue, they said there's no any security code at all.


    Did someone else the update?
    Do you met this security pin question?
    Any ideas to help me?
