hi again, I am from Poland, and unfortunately as far as I know E85 is still in "early pilot" mode here, with a single gas station in the capital city (and this is not changing for last 2 years). anyway - thank for all the feedback, I believe I now closed the "2.4 option" ![]()

Thanks for your comment. After some thinking I am now considering the v6 option ... did all the calculations and while it will cost me "a bit" more in the long run (I did calculations for 100k km and compared to 2.0 diesel it will be somewhere in the 8k EUR range) I believe it will be worth it. Last time I had an v6 engine in Ford Capri a while ago ... and that Capri was 3 years older than me

Hi Folks,
While I made it through the German registration with a little help of Google Translate it will not be possible to write a post in German. Apologies.
Here is my question - after a test drive today I got "strongly convinced" Freemont will be my next car (driving a 4y old Linea 1.6 diesel, 105hp right now).
For financial reasons I do look at 2,4 engine as my "first choice" - but I am a liitle bit worried of both car dynamics (13.3sec to 100kmh, its ~2sec longer than my Linea I think).
So - I would be happy to hear feedback from owners of 2.4 Freemonts (automatic transmission, front wheels drive) - either English or German (will translate).
Thanks in advance!
PS. the dealer I talked with stated that actually both 2,4 and v6 engines behave better with the automated transmission than the one I tried (2.0 Multijet 170hp). was it a "selling language" or there is something behind it.
